Graphic 45 Couture Purse

When I saw the Graphic 45 Couture  paper I just thought it would be perfect to make a purse mini album.  My inspiration for this purse came from Anne at Anne's Paper Creations.

My mom wanted me to make mini albums for her friends for Christmas so this is the first one I finished.

I used a large purse magnet to hold the purse closed and a decorative button on the outside.  I found an owl charm at Hobby Lobby and the black beads were a curtain tie on clearance and I modified it to fit as a charm.  The other beads I strung on a wire.  The chipboard piece on the right was part of the Couture collection.  I added the ribbon roses and black ribbon fastened with brads for the handles.

I used chipboard, tyvek and score tape to hold the cover together then covered it with black cardstock which I embossed and spread multi matte medium over to give it more durability.  I thought it looked sort of leathery which is the look I wanted.
This is the inside cover of the album and page 1.  I fussy cut the beautiful lady out and there is room to slide a photo or tag underneath her.  On the left is a pocket with some tags in it.

The right hand side of each page opens for more photo space and each page has a fussy cut frame that a picture can be slid into.  The left side pages have a pull out photo mat.

I was really happy with how the purse album turned out.  It was a lot of work but my mom was thrilled with it and I'm sure her friend will love it.

Thanks for stopping by!
